Vedat Ugurlu
Vedat Ugurlu is the President of Miray International / Miray Cruises LLC and owner of the cruise ship Gemini. He has extensive experience in cruise operations, hotel management, dry dock projects, and refurbishment. Previously, he worked at Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in Food & Beverage. He has led major cruise projects, including floating hotel services for Disney and Carnival Cruise Lines, and developed proprietary security and technical systems for cruise operations.
Dr. Andreas Papatheodorou
Dr. Andreas Papatheodorou, born in Athens in 1974, is a Professor of Industrial and Spatial Economics with a focus on Tourism at the University of the Aegean. He is also an Associate Professor at the School of Aviation at the University of New South Wales and has served as Dean at the London College of Hospitality and Tourism at the University of West London. His academic background includes a degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business, as well as a Master’s and PhD from the University of Oxford
Theodoros Mylonakis
Theodoros Mylonakis is the Greek Chairman of MTS Group, a leading tourism company specializing in bringing travelers from Germany and England to 18 Greek destinations, including Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Halkidiki, and Corfu. Under his leadership, MTS achieved a 20% increase in tourists to Greece, reaching approximately 900,000 visitors, and anticipates a further 10% growth in 2025. In November 2024, he coordinated an event in Crete, showcasing Greek hospitality to international tour operators.
